About Us
Empowering Homeless Teen Girls with Dignity and Care
At Red Umbrella Project, we believe dignity is a basic human right—not a luxury. For homeless teen girls in Boston, managing their periods without access to proper care can be isolating and traumatizing.
We’re here to change that. Through the distribution of free menstrual hygiene kits, emotional wellness resources, and compassionate community outreach, we create pathways of hope and healing.
But we’re not just providing products—we’re offering connection, restoring menstrual dignity, and giving every girl the message she desperately needs to hear: You are not forgotten. You are worthy.
